Eþyanýn bir mülk tarafý vardýr, dýþ yüzüdür, faniye ve fenaya bakar;

Yusuf, 12/86)

“Hamdým, yandým, piþtim” süreçleri torpilsiz her insan için yaþanmasý gereken etaplardýr.

Bu süreçleri benimseyerek Allah’tan inayet ve Tevfik istemek; zorlandýðýnda aðlayarak yine O’nun dergâhýna iltica etmek belki de kulluðun zirvesidir.

“Aðlamazsanýz anlayamazsýnýz” diyor ya idama giden masum insan, muktedir, merhameti zayýflarýn aðýz lakýrdýsý olarak gören aðýr ceza reisine “Reis Bey” filminde…

Ben de oradan mülhem diyorum ki:

“Aðlamazsanýz, demirden çeliðe dönemezsiniz”

“Aðlayýn, su yükselsin!

Belki kurtulur gemi.

Anne, seccaden gelsin;

Bize dua et, emi!” (N.F. Kýsakürek)

The Effect of Crying on Pain/Calamity

The process of producing steel from iron is briefly as follows:

“Iron ore is reduced in high-temperature facilities such as blast furnaces or reduction furnaces. In this process, the iron ore is deoxygenated (water) to produce raw iron. The carbon content of the raw iron is then controlled and converted into steel.”

High temperatures are applied to the iron, and the iron mesh removes its excess and becomes steel.

Pain (disaster) has two effects on humans:

1. The maturing effect of pain/disaster: This effect explains the historical examples of maturation in the prophets and in the communities that believed and followed them.

2. The degenerating effect of pain: The Children of Israel/Jews, described in detail in the Quran and history books, are the best example of this.

Jews have tirelessly continued to present the best examples of the thesis that "The greatest oppressor is the one whose neck is not smitten," throughout history.

Every believer knows this truth very well:

There is a material aspect of things, the external aspect, which looks to mortality and the passing away;

The other aspect is the spiritual aspect, which looks to the end of existence and immortality.

The pain/tribulation that befalls them has two causes, the external and the internal.

A righteous servant, always in touch with God, evaluates everything from the spiritual aspect, the perspective of the end of existence and immortality.

They interpret pain/tribulation as a "high temperature," like the turning of iron into steel.

In this world, where he was sent down for testing (Al-Mulk, 67:2), he looks to the aspect of the suffering/tribulation that matures him and patiently expels the excesses within him through weeping and sweating.

Of course, there are times when the pain/disaster hits too hard and one cries, one must cry…

But when faced with great difficulty, one should adopt the following stance recommended by Prophet Jacob (peace be upon him):

"(Jacob) said to his sons, 'I only complain of my pain and suffering to God, and I know what you do not know, because God has informed me.'" (Yusuf, 12:86)

The processes of "I was raw, I was burnt, I was cooked" are stages that every person, without any connections, must go through.

Embracing these processes and asking God for grace and guidance; weeping and seeking refuge in His presence when faced with hardship is perhaps the pinnacle of servitude.

“If you don’t cry, you won’t understand,” says the innocent man on his way to execution, to the powerful chief of the penal tribunal who sees mercy as the chatter of the weak, in the film “Mr. Chief”…

Inspired by this, I say:

“If you don’t cry, you can’t turn from iron to steel.”

“Cry, and the water will rise!

Perhaps the ship will be saved.

Mother, let your prayer rug come;

Pray for us, dude!” (N.F. Kýsakürek)
